Lead Stearate (LS)

Lead Stearate compound is a cost-effective form of stabilizer used for PVC. It is a good PVC lubricant with moderate heat stability. It is extensively used in PVC extruded, calendered and moulded products. It’s stabilizing effects are excellent and is required to endure longer fabrication (heating) hours. It is a common practice to use Lead Stearate along with other stabilizers to obtain optimum processing conditions. It is used for PVC products with long service life.
